- clues :
- web links :
- hypothesis annotation searches :
- real novelty :
- Current workflow
- When people want to collaborate closely on text
- concerning a topic of shared interest
- many would use Google Docs or equivalents.
- Real time collaboration of text is clearly valuable
- but more often than not,
- deep collaboration,
- especially among more than 2 or 3 participants is asynchronous
- People can make suggestions for changes in the text and
- supply comments
- The response to these comments are then sent out via email notifications
- Future scenario with IndyWiki
- You have your own personal indy wiki
- where you can work on many interrelated topics of interests
- You may create an article sized summary of your work
- to get/give an overview of your work
- Create a channel for your topic of interest linking to that initial summary
- that exists in your own Wiki
- Send out invitations to people with whom would like to share that work
- or even invite them to collaborate
- Upon accepting that invitation
- your collaborators can highlight any text,
- create s snippet from it within their space
- propose changes or add comments
- These suggested changes, comments would be available to all participants
- near real time, or at the time they open that virtual document.
- This is done through a dedicated encrypted pub-sub channel
- It would also be possible to take any contiguous passage,
- turn it into a dot in itself and link to it from a suggestions.
- That dot will be owned and administered by its creator,
- so comments and suggestions can be made by the original participants
- but control over acceptance or rejection of suggestions
- remain with the original creator of the snippet
-
- In either case when the owner, originator of a snippet
- incorprates a change in the original
- what :
- IndyWiki is a
- Web 3.0 Native
- Hostless
- Local First
- Personal First
- Inter Planetary
- Intent Addressable
-
Conversational
- Peer 2 Peer
- Peer 2 Communities of Interest
- through networked Pub Sub Channels
- Conversations that are
- continuous
- eventually consistent
- without being synchronous
- Unenclosable
- This is being a matter of
- Architecture
- WebNative
- Powered by Fission as a
- constellation provider
